GHANI VISITS LOCAL WEALDEN AWARD WINNING BEACON DOWNS VINEYARD IN CROSS-IN-HAND

Nus Ghani MP was delighted to be joined by neighbour Huw Merriman MP at Beacon Downs Vineyard to support the fantastic local enterprise and entrepreneurs Paul and Al Pippard.

Speaking of the visit, Nus said “I very much enjoyed visiting Beacon Down Vineyard on a beautiful sunny afternoon and meeting with Al and Paul to discuss their plans. Since first planting vines in 2015 they have moved from strength to strength and have already produced award winning wines. Huw and I agreed that it is import to support young businesses like this in our rural areas.”

Beacon Downs vineyard produces Bacchus and Pinot Gris still wines from vines grown in beautiful East Sussex countryside, and for the first time this year will also be producing sparkling wine. For more information go to https://www.beacondown.co.uk/
