Wealden MP Nus Ghani congratulated Harry Bennett on winning her annual Christmas card competition.
Harry Bennett, from St John’s Church of England Primary School in Crowborough, designed Nus’ 2017 Christmas card, which was sent round to thousands of people across Wealden and nationwide, including to the Prime Minister, Theresa May.
Harry’s entry was a vibrant and festive design showcasing Father Christmas flying over the Ashdown Forest, delivering Christmas presents to the people of Wealden. To congratulate Harry on his excellent design, Nus invited Harry and his family up to the Houses of Parliament for tea and a tour.
Commenting on the competition, Ms Ghani said: “It was a pleasure to host Harry and his family in Parliament for tea and a tour.
“Harry designed a wonderful Christmassy landscape which sent to thousands of people across Wealden and nationwide. I was blown away by the quality of all the entries in my Christmas card competition, and Harry’s was especially creative.
“I visited Harry at school after I chose his design to be on my Christmas card, so it was great to return the favour and show him and his family round the House of Commons.”
