In place of her regular face to face surgeries, Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden, continues to hold weekly virtual surgeries for Wealden constituents to listen to their concerns and provide advice, help and representation.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Nus has been holding regular virtual surgeries with individuals and businesses in need of support and advice. At the height of the pandemic and over each lockdown period, Nus was making daily calls to representatives of Wealden schools, care homes, places of worship, the hospitality sector and other business owners who were impacted by the national restrictions.
Most recently, Nus has been dealing with support for non-Covid medical conditions such as cancer treatment, support for Wealden charity events in light of the ongoing restrictive measures, support for innovative solutions to public transport in Wealden, and financial support for wedding venues and pet care businesses.
Casework to cover urgent crisis support and advice continues via email, letters, telephone calls and virtual meetings over video calls. If you would like to book a surgery appointment to discuss urgent coronavirus support, please email [email protected].
Nus Ghani said: “I look forward to meeting Wealden residents face-to-face again when the circumstances allow. I continue to receive a vast amount of casework from constituents requiring help and advice and I am determined to keep virtual lines of communication open to everyone in the meantime. I continue to provide support and representation to businesses and individuals daily. If you are a Wealden resident and require my assistance, please get in touch.”
