Nusrat Ghani, MP for Sussex, attended the Sunday Remembrance service (9 November 2025) at All Saints Church in Old Heathfield to pay tributes to the fallen and honour the armed forces.
Nusrat Ghani said: “Many towns and villages across Sussex Weald have had a long connection to the military and it was moving to see so many people gather at the commemoration in Old Heathfield this year. Every year, it is an honour to stand with local veterans and those that currently serve our country, and lay a wreath to pay tributes to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms today. Thank you to Reverend David Packham for leading the service of remembrance at All Saints Church and at the Cade Street War Memorial.”
