Nusrat Ghani, MP for Wealden, was pleased to meet with Mary Gibbons, the CEO of Moat Housing Association to welcome her to her new role and get an update on their work in Wealden.
Moat is a housing association owning and managing over 21,000 affordable homes in the South East, available for rent or shared ownership. They are a not-for-profit organisation committed to reinvesting any surplus income into maintaining and improving existing homes and building new ones where they are most needed. Moat are one of a number of Registered Providers with housing stock in Wealden and currently manage several properties in Uckfield and Crowborough.
Nusrat Ghani said: “I was pleased to meet with Moat CEO to get updates on their work in Wealden and on their policy on repairs and maintenance of properties across the South East, especially with regards to customers whose homes are prone to damp and mould. I welcome that Moat are dedicated to being a supportive and reliable landlord, and I look forward to them continuing working with Wealden District Council on supporting Wealden communities.”
