Nusrat Ghani, MP for Sussex Weald, was honoured to be a guest speaker at an Iftar fundraiser hosted by the British Asian Trust.
The event raised £350,000 in support of the charity's work.
Nusrat Ghani said: "I was honoured to join the British Asian Trust, which was founded in 2007 by His Majesty King Charles, to speak at their annual fundraising Iftar. The charity fundraiser helped raise over £350,000 in support of women & girls struggling with mental health challenges, homelessness and domestic violence."
