An MP has praised a growing business during a visit to its headquarters.
Nusrat Ghani, MP for Sussex Weald, visited the Hailsham headquarters of Aspen Pumps, a global leader in air conditioning and refrigeration aftermarket products.
The visit was organised by the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA).
Ms Ghani said: "Aspen Pumps is a phenomenal business, a great British success story and shining example of our world-leading local enterprises.
"The expertise and far-reaching impact of our local businesses never fails to amaze me, and I was pleased to return to Aspen Pumps’ Hailsham headquarters to catch up on how far the business has come over the past few years since I last visited their much smaller offices.
"It is an outstanding achievement that they are now trading in over 100 countries and delivering world-class solutions for the air conditioning industry.
"Their growth and success is great news locally and it brings much-needed high-skilled job and apprenticeship opportunities.
"I’m pleased to have been supporting Aspen Pumps over the past decade and I’m proud that products made by our unique local companies are supporting global markets as well as boosting the local economy and driving growth in the UK."
Aspen Pumps designs and manufactures condensate removal pumps, tools, accessories, support systems, cleaning chemicals and refrigeration components.
The company operates in more than 100 countries across four continents and employs more than 900 people worldwide, including more than 200 in the UK.
Ms Ghani met with chief executive Adrian Thompson and key members of the Aspen team, who showcased their technology, international expansion and sales distribution.
Mr Thompson said: "We are grateful to the BVCA for arranging this visit with Nusrat Ghani MP.
"It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our industry-leading technology and demonstrate the global reach of our business.
"Our partnership with Inflexion has provided vital support for our successful growth journey so far, and we expect this to continue as we look to continue to innovate our product offering, increase market penetration and deliver growth across our business."
Ms Ghani previously attended the 2019 ceremony when Aspen Pumps won the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
