Testing

Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden, has welcomed increased community testing for Covid-19 for people with no symptoms.

Symptom-free adults in East Sussex who have to leave home to work, volunteer or due to caring duties can now book a Covid-19 test. Tests can be booked at several community pharmacies across Sussex, or at dedicated testing sites in Brighton and Hove.

Full information about getting tested in East Sussex, including where to book if you do have symptoms, is available at: eastsussex.gov.uk/covidtests

Nus Ghani said: “Accessible testing is a cornerstone of local outbreak management and it is especially important for a rural constituency such as Wealden to have easy access to Covid testing. I am pleased that the testing capacity across the constituency continues to expand. Anyone who is part of a household or bubble with school or college pupils can already collect symptom-free tests to complete at home and by enabling more adults to access symptom-free testing, we are another step closer to beating the virus in our communities.”
