Wealden MP Nus Ghani hosted Uckfield FM stars Mike and Christine Skinner in Parliament for lunch and a cup of tea.
Uckfield FM are a community radio station serving the Uckfield and Wealden area, co-founded by Mike Skinner in 2002.
Nus has supported Uckfield FM and worked to extend the licensing of other community radio stations such as Hailsham FM since she was first elected.
Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden, said: “Uckfield FM are a fine example of a fantastic community local radio station – they are a real asset to the Uckfield area.
“I was delighted to be joined by Mike and Christine in Parliament, and to be able to chat about all things Wealden and Westminster.
“Opening up Parliament to my constituents is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job, and on the day we celebrated women in politics, it was great to be joined by local powerhouses like Uckfield FM.”
