Skate park

Nusrat Ghani, MP for Sussex Weald, is inviting local residents to have their say on the design of a new skatepark as part of the new Sports Hub near Hailsham.

Wealden District Council has launched a consultation on two proposed design options for the park to ensure it creates and inclusive and accommodating space for both beginners and experienced skaters and meets the need of all users.

Residents are invited to share their views by next Wednesday 19th March.

Nusrat Ghani said: “Health, leisure and sport facilities play a key role in building resilience and wellbeing of our communities, and I will always support projects that unlock new exercise opportunities for our communities and especially our young residents. We need more local facilities that provide a secure space for children to be outdoors and move around freely and safely, so please do spare a few moments to share your views and help shape this new asset.”
