Nusrat Ghani MP wrote a letter, co-signed by other CCP-sanctioned Parliamentarians, to the Speakers of both Houses of Parliament following the creation of a Parliamentary TikTok account.

Nusrat said that UK security today includes protecting data from hostile states and that parliament becoming a client of an app which sends data to a government which has sanctioned it was unacceptable. She also stressed how wrong it would be to allow parliament to become a client of an app whose executives may have misled it.
