Our charities are playing a crucial role in our communities, supporting those who are most in need. In a year of unprecedented disruption, we relied upon our charities more than ever. I'm the patron of Hospice in the Wealden regularly work with the following charities:

I am working in partnership with Rotherfield St Martin charity and Wealden Dementia Action Alliance to raise awareness about dementia and leading the way in making our communities dementia friendly. I have proudly signed up to the Dementia Charter and I hope many businesses and organisations will follow suit.
🎗️Securing funding for Wealden charities
Sixteen charities in Wealden received funding from the £200m Coronavirus Community Support Fund in November 2020, totalling £237,956. The funding is aimed at supporting those who need to continue providing their services as part of the national coronavirus response.
