High Broom Care Home 5th December 2015 11am Nus is joining celebrations of the opening of Crowborough’s High Broom Care Home under new ownership. The care home, which can accommodate up to 38 residents, has been acquired by Qualitas Healthcare Ltd, bringing an end to a long period of uncertainty for residents and staff.
Small Business Saturday 2015 5th December 2015 Nus opened the Forest Row Christmas market, and also enjoyed visiting several local business in Forest Row and Uckfield as part of Small Business Saturday!
Visit to St Bede's 4th December 2015 1pm As part of her drive to visit schools in Wealden, Nus was delighted to visit St Bede's School in Upper Dicker and meet the Headmaster, Dr Maloney.
Breakfast In Hailsham 4th December 2015 10am Following on from meeting the Bishop of Chichester the previous day, Nus enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Links Cafe in Hailsham with the vicar for Hellingly, Reverend David Farey.

Meeting with the Bishop of Chichester 3rd December 2015 2:30pm Along with other Sussex MPs, Nus is very happy to be meeting the Rt Revd Martin Warner, Bishop of Chichester, in Westminster. Nus will be discussing both local and national issues with the Bishop, including the Shoreham Air disaster, safeguarding issues and faith schools.
Nus Visits Fire Station 28th November 2015 10am Nus will be spending a morning at Uckfield fire station to gain a better appreciation of the work that Wealden's firemen do, in the run-up to Christmas when they will be particularly busy.
Woodland Management 19th November 2015 2:00-4:30pm On Thursday 19 November, there is an event in Uckfield about sustainable management of deer, with talks by Jamie Cordrey from The Deer Initiative and sporting rights from a member of Charles Russell Speechlys. Tickets are £15, including coffee and refreshments.

Drop-In With Lead Members of Gatwick Review 23rd October 2015 17:00-18:00 Nus will be hosting a community drop-in meeting in Crowborough on Friday 23 October with lead members of the independent review of air traffic at and around Gatwick Airport; Mr Bo Redeborn, who is leading the review, and Mr Graham Lake, Technical Adviser, to discuss the terms of the review and the concerns of Wealden residents with respect to noise and disruption from aircraft.
Rotherfield Visits Parliament 23rd October 2015 12:55pm Nus will be meeting pupils from Rotherfield Primary School, who are visiting Parliament.
