Nusrat Ghani said: "Uckfield is a fantastic town, which focuses on the local community whilst also having international links reaching far and wide across the globe. Our community radio stations are real lifelines to many constituents, providing an invaluable medium to share local information and unite out communities. Uckfield FM are a well-trusted, fantastic asset run by local people for local people. I enjoy my monthly catch ups on air with them to discuss local matters and national campaigns. It was a pleasure celebrating Local Radio Day with Uckfield FM and catching up on all things Wealden.”
