Nusrat Ghani, MP for Wealden, is championing this year’s Hailsham Community College Careers Fair, organised annually by Careers Leader Jennie Cole to secure a wide range of opportunities for young people in Wealden.
Hailsham Community College Careers Fair is a fantastic opportunity for young Wealden residents to explore the best employment and skills development opportunities the local area has to offer. Ahead of the event, the COP26 President Alok Sharma visited the College last month to talk to the Sixth Form students about his role and responsibilities and delivering greener future and greener jobs.
The event, which is an important fixture in the local jobs and skills calendar, is returning this year on Friday 11 March as part of National Careers Week.
Exhibitor registration is now open and local businesses and organisations are encouraged to register by getting in touch via email at: [email protected] to secure a stand.
The event will be running from 09:00 to 12:00 noon on Friday 11 March.
Nusrat Ghani said: “Hailsham Community College Careers Fair is a key event for local employers looking to recruit and a great opportunity for Wealden students to network and explore different career choices. I have been sponsoring the event since 2015 and I am delighted that it is taking place in-person again this year. Every year, the event is a great success and I’m sure this year will be no different. I would like to encourage Wealden businesses and organisations interested in exhibiting to register as soon as possible to avoid missing out.”
