Wealden MP celebrates International Women’s Day by acknowledging local contributions

The MP has taken the opportunity to celebrate women in Wealden that have become community leaders and has thanked them for the incredibly important part they played in the response to Covid-19.

Ms Ghani said, “I am proud to be representing Wealden in Westminster as its first female MP and I will always work to encourage more women to become leaders. Today presents a perfect opportunity to celebrate all the women across our community who continue to play a key role in the response to Covid-19."
