Nusrat Ghani, MP for Wealden, has visited Relish Bar & Grill restaurant in Uckfield to congratulate them on being finalists in the Best Newcomer Category at the prestigious British Kebab of the Year Awards, taking place this week.
The annual British Kebab Awards, in association with Just Eat, highlight the importance of recognising our local restaurants and takeaways, which have been an integral part of our local communities for decades and make a significant contribution to the UK economy.
Relish Bar & Grill owner Mert Ates has been in the restaurant business since 2008, and has a huge amount of experience in creating a great atmosphere for customers to enjoy. Having joined Uckfield six months ago, Relish offers local residents Italian as well as Turkish cuisine, and has a wide range of options for both lunch and dinner, including cold and hot meze, Turkish meat grill, pizzas, traditional desserts and more. There are also set menus and bottomless brunch options available. The venue and its sizable garden are fully accessible, available for hire, and have recently introduced live music nights.
