Construction of a new BMX pump track is set to begin, thanks to a funding boost.
The track, which will be part of the Horam Recreation Ground in Horam, East Sussex, is the second phase of the Get Active Pathway (GAP) Project.

Construction of the track has been made possible after a crowdfunder and nearly £50,000 of funding from Veolia Environmental Trust reached the target.
The track will be finished before the end of the year.
Nusrat Ghani, MP for Sussex Weald, has continually supported the GAP Project.
She said: "I was delighted to work with Horam Village Hall Trustees and secure the delivery of Phase 1 of the GAP project, which unlocked new exercise opportunities for all communities in Horam and especially, enabling those with mobility issues to have better access to exercise all year round.
"I continue working with the Trustees to secure further expansions to the project and I'm pleased that thanks to this vital funding, the construction of Phase 2 can now begin.
"The BMX Pump Track will play a key role in helping to get local children outdoors and allow them to move around freely and safely in a secure local space."
The GAP Project was first established in 2023 and saw a new pathway created around the upper part of the recreation ground.
Phase 2 will be the construction of the BMX Pump Track and other plans for the area include a new outdoor gym area.
The BMX track will be created using existing soil from previous projects to ensure minimal environmental impact.
Aggregates will also be sourced from quarries.
The track "will be community-focused and is designed to cater to a wide range of skill levels and abilities," the Horam Village Hall Trustees have said.
