Nusrat Ghani, MP for Sussex Weald, joined BBC South East to discuss Crowborough Training Camp and the news that the Home Office has closed 11 hotels used as asylum seeker accommodation and moved more asylum seekers to Crowborough.
Nusrat Ghani said: "I was pleased to join BBC South East to discuss the Crowborough Training Camp. The Home Office have stated it’s no cheaper having Asylum Seekers in Crowborough and the site isn’t confirmed as safe legal and compliant. Contrary to what the Labour Minister states there is zero evidence that housing Asylum Seekers in Crowborough will deter Asylum Seekers or the awful criminal gangs."
