Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden, has hosted a virtual advice surgery for her constituents, in place of her regular face to face surgeries.
Nus Ghani said:
“The Coronavirus pandemic has affected everyone in Wealden and I have received a huge amount of casework from constituents requiring help and advice. I have been speaking with constituents throughout the lockdown period but I am glad to have been able to keep up with my regular surgeries and have as personal an interaction with my constituents as possible. Casework continues via email and we are dealing with businesses, care homes, farmers, and just this morning my MP surgery dealt with vets in Wadhurst, dentists in Crowborough, vulnerable older residents in Hailsham to High Hurstwood, schools in Uckfield and the temporary closure of Forest Row Post office. Due to current social distancing measures in place to combat COVID19, all surgeries will continue to be conducted by phone call or video call until the situation changes”
If you are a Wealden resident and require Nus’ assistance, please email [email protected] for casework or visit her website www.nusghani.org.uk for information regarding Coronavirus.
