Wealden MP Nus Ghani will be testing the maritime knowledge of her constituents when she becomes quiz master for a virtual quiz night in support of Seafarers UK.

Following the success of Seafarers UK’s first virtual Maritime quiz in January, Nus will be joined by Bob Sanguinetti, CEO of UK Chamber of Shipping in hosting the next event which takes place at 6pm on Thursday, March 18.

Nus Ghani said: “I’ve been a strong advocate for seafarers throughout the pandemic and I will continue to support them and the maritime sector. I am thrilled that our January sea shanty has been a great success and raised a fantastic amount for British seafarers and fishermen, and their families.

"Next Thursday, fill up your glass and join us for another evening of light-hearted fun. I know that many Wealden residents have family members or are themselves seafarers and I hope that we can get together again for an evening of all things maritime and raise funds for those at sea delivering our essentials.”

There will also be a performance from a sea shanty band from Wivenhoe, The Hoolies. Song sheets will be provided in case you want to sing along.

Tickets are only £10 per household and there are some fantastic prizes for those with top notch maritime knowledge. To join, please register here: https://register.enthuse.com/ps/event/TheMaritimeQuiz2.
