Crowborough has a new Police Station
The new station replaces the old site on Crowborough Hill and is now located at the former Town Hall on The Broadway, in the town centre. It will house its own neighbourhood policing team, offering a more visible policing presence right at the heart of the community and it will serve as hub for the rural crime team.
Front office opening hours will be maintained at 10am-2pm Monday to Friday and a display screen in the window features key information about police campaigns, enabling residents to access quick-time on community-based information and local initiatives.
Nus Ghani MP was due to attend the opening, but due to urgent proceedings in Parliament at short notice, Wealden District and East Sussex County Councillor for Crowborough and Member of the Police & Crime Panel Philip Lunn delivered Nusrat’s words of thanks instead.
