Nusrat Ghani, MP for Wealden, is inviting all Wealden primary schools to participate in her 2021 Christmas card competition.
Each student at every primary school in Wealden is being invited to submit an entry, with the winning design to be featured on Nusrat’s Christmas card this year. The Christmas card will be delivered to hundreds of people, both across Wealden and nationwide, including to the Prime Minister.
The theme for the drawing or design is ‘What Christmas means to me’.
The drawings can use any medium (pencil, felt tip, crayon, paint etc.) and should be completed on A4, either portrait or landscape is fine. The design must be an original piece of work. Please make sure every submission has the child’s full name, school, and class or year group on the back.
Please post all entries to the competition to: Nusrat Ghani MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA. The closing date is Friday 22 October 2021.
Nusrat Ghani said: “My Christmas card competition has been in place since 2015, but due to the pandemic it had to be paused last year. I’m so pleased to be relaunching it again this year and celebrate Wealden schools and students. Every year it gets more difficult to choose a winner as there are so many outstanding creations and I expect it to be no different this winter. I hope it brings a little early Christmas cheer to Wealden pupils and I look forward to receiving all their festive designs. Don’t forget to send your entries to me by Friday 22 October!”
