Nusrat Ghani, MP for Wealden, was a panel guest for a Bright Blue event during Conservative Party Conference. Speaking alongside Tom Tugendhat MBE MP, Chair, Foreign Affairs Committee, Cindy Yu, Broadcast Editor, The Spectator and Phoebe Arslanagić-Wakefield, Senior Researcher, Bright Blue (Chair), Nusrat discussed the role China plays on the global stage and how Britain can work and challenge Beijing. She spoke at length about countering China's expansion through the Belt and Road Initiative, her work on the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee, and the need for the UK to reinvigorate its foreign aid budget.
