Nusrat Ghani, MP for Wealden, has hosted the annual Careers Fair organised by Hailsham Community College.
To conclude National Careers week, Hailsham Community College held their annual Careers Fair today (Friday 11 March 2022). A great range of local businesses and apprenticeship providers, as well as further education institutes, emergency services and charities have come together to present the various career paths in a multitude of different disciplines to students.
Nusrat has been a champion of the event every year, working closely with Hailsham Community College's Careers Advisor Jennie Cole to secure a wide range of opportunities for young people in Wealden.
Nusrat Ghani said: “I am proud to be championing this fantastic event, which exhibits local work opportunities and inspires the future career choices of our students. I am very grateful to Hailsham Community College for continuing to provide this excellent service and to the range of local employers who have come to inspire students' career choices and showcase the wide scope of job opportunities in Wealden."
