Nusrat Ghani, MP for Wealden, has attended the F1 / UK Motorsport Reception in Westminster to celebrate British Motorsport Day.
UK Motorsport remains a potent world-leading brand and sits at the forefront of research and development, technology, competitive global sport and ‘the best of British’. It also supports many thousands of jobs, livelihoods and contributes significantly to the UK economy.
In addition to representatives of Motorsport UK, key figures from the worlds of Formula 1, Formula E and Extreme E and many other notable series were in attendance.
The reception followed a display of racing vehicles in Speaker’s Court throughout the day. These vehicles exemplified some of the most innovative sustainable technologies that will prove pivotal in creating an eclectic future for the wider automotive world, as the UK works towards reaching net zero.
