Nusrat Ghani, MP for Wealden, spoke to the BBC Radio 4 PM programme to commemorate one year since the retreat from Kabul.

She stressed that the need to do more to help house the 10,500 Afghans currently living in UK hotels as well as more for assistance for those still stuck in Afghanistan.

She called for widening of the scope of the ACRS and ARAP schemes, as well as committing more resources to processing these visas, and for more support to help women and girls out of the country.
