Saxonbury House surgery has been administering the vaccine since mid-January.
The Surgery have been vaccinating patients not only from Crowborough but also surgeries in Forest Row, Wadhurst, Groombridge, Hartfield, Mayfield and Rotherfield.
The medical team is supported by a team of volunteers across all these practices and together they ensure that up to 600 people are vaccinated at the surgery every day.
No dose wasted.
Such has been their excellent progress that over 14,000 jabs have been distributed to date, with no dose wasted.
Of the patient group allocated to Saxonbury House surgery, all eligible care home residents, all eligible housebound residents, and over 90% of patients in the top four cohorts have been immunised. The GP surgery has also maintained its regular services.
This is great news as the road map to the end of restrictions was revealed yesterday.
