Parliament

Nus is one of the most active MPs in Parliament, standing up for Wealden, raising the issues that matter, such as the poor train performance, opposing Gatwick expansion and unreliable rural broadband connections.

Nus has spoken close to 100 times in Parliament in the last year, and receieved answers to 42 written questions - both well above average among MPs.

You can see Nus Ghani's speeches and appearances in Parliament here:

Civil Service Pensions ( 6 Jul 2026)

Nusrat Ghani: Order. To help more Members get in, questions need to be short and limited to just one question.

Civil Service Pensions ( 6 Jul 2026)

Nusrat Ghani: Good.

Civil Service Pensions ( 6 Jul 2026)

Nusrat Ghani: Order. What can I do to restore confidence, or what can the Minister do? You mean the Minister?

Civil Service Pensions ( 6 Jul 2026)

Nusrat Ghani: Order. I have not said anything. End your question quickly.

National Security (State Threats) Bill ( 6 Jul 2026)

Nusrat Ghani: I can inform the House that nothing in the Lords amendments engages Commons financial privilege.
