A group of Wealden farmers recently joined Nus Ghani for a meeting with the Farming Minister, George Eustice MP, in Parliament.
The meeting was an opportunity for Nus and the Wealden farmers to put across their views and concerns about agriculture policy and how it should be formulated in future.
Nus Ghani, the MP for Wealden, has welcomed news that the Government has frozen duty on beer, cider and spirits for another year.
The freeze on duty means that many alcoholic drinks have avoided rises in the tax paid, saving up to 30p on the price of a bottle of gin.
