Along with other Sussex MPs, Nus is very happy to be meeting the Rt Revd Martin Warner, Bishop of Chichester, in Westminster. Nus will be discussing both local and national issues with the Bishop, including the Shoreham Air disaster, safeguarding issues and faith schools.
Nus will be officially opening Bentley Grange, Saxon Weald’s new extra care scheme in Hailsham, on 26 February 2016. The event will start at 2.30pm, and afternoon tea and cake will be served! Nus will be giving a short speech as well as doing the plaque unveiling honours.
Nus will be holding a drop-in surgery at the Civic Centre, Bellfarm Lane, Uckfield, TN22 1AE between 1-2pm on 11 March 2016. No prior booking is necessary, however you may wish to first send an email to [email protected] so Nus can see what you want to talk to her about, and may be able to start doing something to help as soon as possible.

Nus will be spending a morning at Uckfield fire station to gain a better appreciation of the work that Wealden's firemen do, in the run-up to Christmas when they will be particularly busy.
Nus will be hosting a community drop-in meeting in Crowborough on Friday 23 October with lead members of the independent review of air traffic at and around Gatwick Airport; Mr Bo Redeborn, who is leading the review, and Mr Graham Lake, Technical Adviser, to discuss the terms of the review and the concerns of Wealden residents with respect to noise and disruption from aircraft.
On Thursday 19 November, there is an event in Uckfield about sustainable management of deer, with talks by Jamie Cordrey from The Deer Initiative and sporting rights from a member of Charles Russell Speechlys. Tickets are £15, including coffee and refreshments.
