Nus Ghani ended her first busy week back from Christmas recess, in Crowborough, where she returned to High Broom Care Centre.

Following anxious and extensive campaigning, community coordinated submissions, face-to-face meetings with East Sussex County Council (ESCC) and lobbying of the Education Minister, has resulted in the much awaited news that Fletching CE Primary School is no longer under threat of closure.
Since the
Nus Ghani’s last act as MP for Wealden in this parliament, was to represent Fletching Church of England Primary School to the Education Minister, Department for Education in relation to East Sussex County Councils consultation on the future of Fletching Primary School.
Rajdoot Curry House, based in Hailsham, was selected from thousands of Curry Houses in the UK to receive the prestigious “top chef” award.
Members from Rajdoot Curry House were joined by Nus Ghani MP at the awards night in London held by the Bangladesh Caterers Association.
Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden has assiduously campaigned for lifesaving Cystic Fibrosis drugs to be made available on the NHS. Last year Nus Ghani met a Horam resident, Christina Walker at an event hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Nus Ghani, MP for Wealden visited Gun Brewery, an award-winning local brewery known for its innovative “special beer” near Chiddingly.
The visit was an opportunity for Nus to catch up with the local brewery, which currently employs a mixture of specialist in brewing and marketing staff.
