Nus Ghani has nominated four local pub chefs for the Parliamentary Pub Chef of the Year Award.
In conjunction with Uckfield FM, Nus invited local people to contact her with the details of their favourite local pub chefs.
On Remembrance Sunday Nus attended a service at St Bartholomew’s Church in Maresfield to pay tribute to the fallen and to honour the armed forces.
A squadron of 38 military personnel marched to the service through Maresfield Park, starting at the Manor House.
Nus Ghani returned to visit Mrs Patel, shopkeeper at Maresfield Village Store, following an attempted robbery at the shop.
The attempted robbery, which has been widely reported by local media, took place at around 5pm on the 21st of October and was carried out by a man from Hailsham.
Speaking in the House of Commons, Nus Ghani congratulated Beacon Academy in Crowborough on its stellar results, after it was named as the best school in East Sussex.
